Seismic hazard vulnerability based on probabilistic seismic hazard approach in Bengkulu City, Indonesia

Bengkulu City is an area in Indonesia that has a high seismic intensity. This very vulnerable to undergo earthquakes. Therefore, there necessity study the hazard assessment this area. paper presents vulnerability based on ground response analysis combined with probabilistic assessment. The soil profiles around are investigated using geophysical survey by microtremor and analysis. motion of soft implemented. Soil responses such as peak acceleration (PGA) at surface, spectral accelerations (SA) 0.2 s 1 s, amplification factors sites observed. Those parameters then processed be presented microzonation maps. results show PGA ranges from 0.5g. SA 0.4 1.3g 0.7g, respectively. also exhibit propagated wave could amplify up 1.6 times surface. bring recommendation reconsider design code for structural buildings City.
